A Path Less Traveled, Colorado
Across the American West, roads and trails of past activities still show up in unexpected places. The observer is always left to wonder where the road was originally designed to go. Did the road lead to a village, a mine, a lake or to a friend's house. Perhaps because we grew up before television and electronic devices, views like this ask our minds to furnish the story. Sometimes it can, sometimes it can't, but the effort to create the story is always a challenge.
