Autumn in Grand Teton National Park
This was taken at the beginning of fall along the Snake River near Oxbow Bend. The trees were just taking on color and the river was rippled by the wind. About a dozen small glaciers persist at the higher elevations in the Teton Range although they are in a state of recession. This view of Mt. Moran shows the glacier carved eastern face.
